Edit zone to search

1. Edit zone to search
The standard name of a time zone is composed of two parts:
  • the continent
  • the city
This two parts are divided by a "/" character.
You can specify the first, the second or both. Try the most general one if you don't find the city you are looking for.
There are also ALIAS in the database such as CET (Central European Time) or EST (East coast Standard Time).
This general time zones will have no information about daylight saving time, since this depends on the state low and not on a geographical position.
